A black queen is who I am born to be!
Maybe I’m magical because my hair defies gravity or when I smile you look at me majestically, how can something so beautiful be like me?
It could be the way we come in different sizes: small, big, thick or lean it doesn’t matter what we look like, a black queen is what we’re destined to be. We live in a world where they want us to fail but that doesn’t mean we won’t prevail we continue to exhale!
Black queens don’t you understand our power in numbers they try to separate us make us hate each other, this makes us become weaker. Let’s rise and conquer!
It’s not just the physical features that keep others speechless…It’s the knowledge that we bring how we continue to strive for success it’s like it’s in our genes. They say the black woman is seen as the lowest in society but it’s not about what people say, it’s about what we want to be.
Cultural appropriation is what they try so hard to do “trying to be black” like it’s just a costume. I think it’s because of the different ways we continue to slay braids, wigs, weaves or natural not everyone can do the same. The never-ending different black cultures we have, we are so different and diverse but we are still the same.
To the black queens out there know you are appreciated because even if you think for second others can’t see it being alive and well is enough to just be it.

This line really stood out to me and I really love it! It’s true, society can say whatever but ultimately the power is on our hands and we can be whatever we want to be
